The Sadies

Colder Streams
Released on Yep Roc Records

Produced by The Arcade Fire’s Richard Reed Parry and featuring special guest Jon Spencer

Possessing a deep fondness and reverence for the best of CBGB—country, bluegrass and blues—since their formation in 1994, The Sadies developed, even perfected, a style of music that is uniquely their own. Produced by Arcade Fire's Richard Reed Parry, the Toronto rockers release their 11th studio album, Colder Streams via Yep Roc Records, their label home since the founding of the label 25 years ago.

Recorded and mixed at Skybarn in Montreal, the 11-song platter exhibits again why The Sadies are in a league of their own. Equally informed and influenced by everything from ‘60s garage and psychedelic rock, to surf instrumentals and punk rock, the quartet's newest album is the final release with founding member Dallas Good.

Since the quartet comprised of singer/guitarists Dallas and Travis Good, bassist Sean Dean and drummer Mike Belitsky first arrived on the North American scene 28 years ago, their music has never been less than awe-inspiring, with no embellishment necessary.
